We all know how happy television, award shows, high fashion and celebrities make me. The 2014 Primetime Emmy Awards brings all of that together into one place. The fashion was top notch and there were a few trends that erupted on the red carpet. Cue my favorite looks in 3..2..1..
Red + Radiant: This hue was a hit tonight.
It's a risky statement to match the carpet, but these ladies pulled it off.
It's a risky statement to match the carpet, but these ladies pulled it off.
Orange is the New Black: the ladies from OITNB made themselves known for their work as well as for their fashion. How great is it to see the women out of their tan scrubs? Also, a little history went down at the Emmy's: Laverne Cox is the first openly transgender nominee for the show! Congratulations are also in order for Uzo, aka Crazy Eyes, on her win for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.
Women in white: Another trend last night was bright white. You can also see a few OITNB ladies above wowing in white. This six ladies really nailed the shade, and all in different ways.
