As I wrap up my second week in New York City, I'm finally getting a chance to catch my breath. Aside from 10+hour intern days at People's Revolution, I've been working on homework–yes, I'm also taking two classes over the summer–and watching Once Upon a Time on Netflix into the wee hours of the morning. Reaching the end of the queue was borderline devastating, ask my roommates who had to witness my meltdown, but now I'm going to try to hop back on my blog train. All aboard! I'm going to leave you with this impromptu photo shoot at Bryant Park, because I'm not going to pass up an opportunity to take photos in front of a fountain, and get started on a nice little recap of my time here so far. Shout out to my roomie Rachael for snapping these shots for me.
All black is always in style no matter the season. I decided to keep my accessories tonal with my clothes, but could have opted for a bold + colorful statement necklace to stand out from the rest of my look. I went on a two day hunt for this hat, and probably have been wearing it more than I should be. But what else are you going to do to hide your not-quite-clean hair? The Converse help dress down this outfit and help my tanktop/dress look a bit more casual.
Check back soon to see what I've been up to these last few weeks here in the city!
